The Human Insight Summit (THiS) is UserTesting’s annual customer conference, a three-day event that brings together the world’s best researchers, designers, product managers, and marketers–with content that centers on the ways companies can foster more accessible, inclusive, and customer driven experiences through greater human understanding.

Is THiS 2024 an in-person or virtual event?
THiS 2024 will be held in-person in Austin, TX. Select sessions will be made available on-demand post-event.
What can I expect from attending THiS?
At THiS, presentations, workshops and panel discussions will center on innovation, continuous learning, and digital experiences. These sessions will be led by subject matter experts at UserTesting as well as by leaders and practitioners at some of the most innovative organizations from around the world.
Our goal is to provide attendees with tangible advice to help them capture human insight and understand changing buyer needs in rich detail—so that they can deliver exceptional and differentiated experiences for their customers.
Do I need to be a UserTesting customer to attend THiS?
No, you do not need to be a current UserTesting customer to attend THiS. The agenda is carefully crafted to include something for everyone. Presentations, workshops and panel discussions will center on innovation, continuous learning, and digital experiences. Sessions will be led by subject matter experts at UserTesting as well as by leaders and practitioners at some of the most innovative companies in the world.
Is there a mobile app?
A mobile app will be available for download closer to the event start date. You’ll receive an email with instructions on how to download and access the mobile app on Android and Apple devices. The app will feature the full event agenda, an interactive agenda builder to personalize your THiS journey, venue map, networking opportunities, details about evening events, and much more.
Will sessions be available to watch after the event?
Select presentations will be available to watch on-demand after the event.
Will presentation slides be available after the event?
Select presentation slides will be available after the event on the on-demand site.
Will the University Live Workshops be available to view on-demand after the event?
Unfortunately, no. University Live workshops are immersive, interactive learning experiences for attendees to engage with product experts and other attendees, and learn hands-on how to get the most out of our platform.
How do I register for THiS?
Registration is required to attend THiS. You can register online or by reaching out to your UserTesting account or renewal representative.
How much does it cost to attend THiS 2024?
Full Conference Pass

- January 1 - March 31 — $299/person
- April 1 - June 30 – $399/person

What does my registration include?
The Full Conference Pass includes:

Do you offer a group discount?
Yes! Attend sessions as a team or divide and conquer to make the most of your experience. Group discounts are available for 2 or more tickets.
- Groups of 2-4 attendees will receive a 25% discount on each ticket based on the tier pricing at time of purchase. Must purchase tickets in the same order.
- Groups of 5-10 attendees will receive a 30% discount on each ticket based on the tier pricing at time of purchase. Must purchase tickets in the same order.
- Groups of 10 or more attendees will receive a 35% discount on each ticket based on the tier pricing at time of purchase. Must purchase tickets in the same order.
Please note, all tickets must be purchased at the same time to be eligible for the discounted rate. The discount will be automatically applied at checkout.
Which meals will be provided?
A Full Conference Pass to THiS includes all meals starting the evening of Monday, October 28th until the closing reception on Wednesday, October 30th. This includes the welcome reception on Monday, October 28th, and breakfast, lunch, snack breaks, and receptions on Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 30th.
If participating in the University Live Workshops on Monday, October 28th, enjoy an exclusive lunch and snacks in between sessions.
Will I receive a registration confirmation email after registering?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email after registering. Please check your email inbox and spam folder. If you still do not see or receive this email, please contact events@usertesting.com.

What are the Terms and Conditions for attending THiS 2024?
Our Terms and Conditions can be found here. All THIS registrants are required to agree to these terms to participate in the event.
What is the registration cancellation policy?
Once an individual completes registration, they cannot cancel or receive a refund for The Human Insight Summit (THiS) 2024 event. However, they may transfer their registration in one of two ways:
- Transfer it to another colleague within their organization; or
- Apply their ticket registration toward registration for next year's The Human Insight Summit 2025 conference.
To transfer registration, send an email to events@usertesting.com by 11:59pm (EST), October 14, 2024. Please note, sharing event badges is not permitted at any time — badges are issued to, can be picked up by, and can be used by only the person named in the registration.
What are UserTesting University Live workshops?
University Live Workshops are immersive, interactive learning experiences held during THiS where participants learn directly from research and UserTesting product experts on how to get the most out of our platforms.
Several different workshops are available in 2024 that will teach attendees things like which research they should plan, up-leveling their research skills, how to gather insights quickly, and why feedback can be so powerful for product design and development efforts.
This year’s topics include:
- Translating research questions into usability tests
- Guerilla prototyping - lo-fi prototype techniques
- Telling a compelling story: dynamic presentations for UX results
- Continuous measurement and the product development life cycle (PDLC)
Is advanced sign-up required for workshops?
Yes, advanced sign-up is required, and seating is not guaranteed. Sign-ups will launch at the end of July 2024.
If you are Interested in attending more than one workshop, we highly recommend bringing your team to divide and conquer.
Will the University Live Workshops be available to view on-demand after the event?
Unfortunately, no. Workshops are immersive, interactive learning experiences for attendees to engage with UX experts and other attendees, learn hands-on how to get the most out of the insights you gather, and align them with your organization’s goals.
When should I arrive?
There are a few activities and workshops beginning on Monday, October 28, please plan your travel accordingly:

Which airport should I fly into?
The Austin Bergstrom International airport, which is about 20 minutes away from the Fairmont Austin (event venue).

Business-casual is appropriate for all functions at THiS 2024.

Will there be a dedicated mother’s room available during the event?
Yes, we will have a dedicated Mother’s Room available. Please refer to the venue map within the mobile app for its location.
Is the conference venue wheelchair accessible?
