UserZoom the leading user experience (UX) research and testing SaaS platform, announces it has acquired research technology company YouEye. The move adds to UserZoom’s All-in-One User Experience (UX) solution for qualitative and quantitative UX research from mobile to desktop, providing intelligent and accelerated user experience design decisions, deep customer insights, and accelerated growth for customers.
“We are excited to incorporate the YouEye solution into our user experience platform,” said UserZoom Co-Founder & CEO Alfonso de la Nuez. “The addition of YouEye’s industry-leading panel recruitment capabilities underscores UserZoom’s position in the market. The integrated platform combines the best of both worlds — scalable quantitative data with sophisticated and agile qualitative feedback. You can easily create a test, recruit crowdsourced testers and get results within hours, which is perfect for today’s agile design and development needs.”
As a leader in qualitative analytics, YouEye has specialized in recruitment with a heavy emphasis on panel quality. UserZoom customers can now take advantage of this new ecosystem of panelists — large, active and growing at a rapid rate. And by overlaying a sophisticated set of checks and balances rolled up as a Quality Assurance Program, customers can be confident of the quality of research results.
“YouEye and UserZoom are Innovators in remote usability testing and UX research,” said Malcolm Stewart, CEO of YouEye. “Combining our platforms empowers companies to quickly identify the biggest opportunities to improve digital products. With remote user research, behavior recognition, survey analytics, and qualitative user experience analytics, we make it easier and faster than ever to build customer-centric, amazing experiences.”
“This is an exciting addition to the UserZoom platform,” said Jennifer Ursich, Senior UX Researcher with Smartsheet. “I’ve been using UserZoom for over 5 years, and the acquisition of YouEye will really extend the qualitative research capabilities of UserZoom. As a customer, I’m excited to see the integrated solution.”
“It’s great to see UserZoom broadening their capabilities,” said Jakob Nielsen, a pioneer and leading voice in web usability and user experience enhancement. “Nielsen Norman Group uses the UserZoom platform, and our research will only benefit from enhanced qualitative panels and behavioral analytics.”
In Q4 of 2015, UserZoom Technologies completed a $34 million financing round with the intent to support the growth and expansion of the company and further its position in the usability market. The round was led by TC Growth Partners, Trident Capital and StepStone Group.
