Kate Thacker

Kate Thacker is a product designer by training, but a people person at heart. After graduating with a journalism degree from Indiana University, she did a brief stint in nonprofit communications before realizing her interest in storytelling could translate to a career in user experience design. Today, she uses her background in media and design to lead foundational user research and integrate user feedback into subscription products at USA TODAY NETWORK | Gannett. Kate is passionate about using design thinking to help sustain the future of local journalism.
