Validately panelist FAQs

Validately has officially shut down and is no longer running research studies. However, the same types of opportunities—usability tests, surveys, and other feedback sessions—are now available through UserTesting, which acquired Validately.

UserTesting is a platform that helps companies improve their products and services by getting real feedback from real people. As a UserTesting participant, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in studies, share your thoughts, and get paid for your time—just like you did with Validately.

It’s easy! Just follow these steps:

1. Visit this page
2. Enter your email and Click “Get started”
3. Complete your profile and follow the instructions to take a practice test
4. Once approved, you’ll start receiving test opportunities that match your profile

Yes! UserTesting pays participants for completed tests. Payments vary depending on the length and complexity of the study, but typically range from $4 to $60 USD per test.

To get paid, you must have a verified PayPal account.
 

To participate, you’ll need:

• A computer or mobile device with a reliable internet connection
• A working microphone (built-in or external)
• A quiet place to complete tests

Some tests may also require screen recording, just like with Validately.

UserTesting accepts participants from many countries around the world. When you sign up, you’ll be asked to confirm your location. Test opportunities will vary depending on your location and language preferences.
