The lazy days of summer are officially here. While your customers may be relaxing on summer vacations, that doesn’t mean your organization’s commitment to customer experience can take a break. Despite the laid-back attitude summer often brings, organizations are continually striving to compete for customers. Don’t let the long days fool you. Your customers have high expectations and the faster your team can surface those insights that keep you connected to your customers, the better off your business will be.
That’s why we’re excited to announce that, in our latest market release, we’re introducing new features that will help you uncover the insights you need faster and more efficiently than ever before.
With this latest release, UserTesting customers will be able to uncover key customer insights faster with more context and with greater efficiency, so they can understand where to focus their efforts for greater success.
Included in this July 2022 product release are exciting new capabilities:
Speed up your post-test analysis by automatically detecting patterns, anomalies, and key insights across multiple sessions conducted within a study. Get straight to the aggregated results and high-value insights without having to spend hours analyzing individual sessions.
UserTesting employs proprietary machine learning models trained to identify patterns and trends in customer experience data by simultaneously analyzing behavior, sentiment, and intent.

Upload audio, video, or other media assets directly onto UserTesting. Gather contributor feedback easily on video and audio files with an improved asset upload experience. Customers will be able to test their unreleased or sensitive media assets within the confines of the UserTesting platform.
Many of our customers already value the convenience of our secure prototype hosting using file upload. Native media asset testing allows for that same convenience for broader use cases.

The new navigation design allows you to easily access core functionalities like Tests, Folders, Highlight Reels, and Templates and toggle between multiple projects with a click so that you have quick access to the insights you need to guide your business decisions. With the new, intuitive navigation and folder management, it’s now easier for your entire team to launch tests and collaborate at scale—no matter the size of your organization.

The updated card sorting experience enables you to launch tests quickly with a unified solution. With the new design, you’ll get input about your information architecture remotely with the UserTesting panel or your own contacts and view video feedback alongside metrics. You’ll also be able to review videos and transcripts to better understand why customers grouped items together, and add closed tests in unmoderated studies.

UserTesting is introducing Self-service Single Sign On (SSO) to provide an easier, faster way to provision SSO and conduct ongoing management of SSO settings. By allowing users to log in to the UserTesting platform with their corporate credentials, SSO provides customers with a more efficient and secure way to access the platform and manage platform users.
Additionally, admins are now able to access the SSO settings page within the platform, which allows them to complete the initial SSO setup and manage it on an ongoing basis should any changes need to be made.

The UserTesting platform is now available in French for both customers and contributors. Test with contributors entirely in French, and target and connect with more people around the world.
